Renewed Mind
Ephesians 4:23

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,” Ephesians 4:23 NASB

As a believer lays aside the old sinful nature and puts on the new nature in Christ, this life-changing transformation requires a changing of one’s mindset. It requires a renewing of the mind, cleaning out of old sinful thoughts and filling the mind with holy and righteous thoughts. This different thinking is accomplished by filling the mind with God’s Word, the Bible and with His ways. This renewal of the mind also involves being careful what one puts in the mind through all forms of media, music, video, and literature.

Lord Jesus, help me to fill my mind with what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and praiseworthy. Through Your Word transform my mindset and thoughts to what is holy and righteous.
