No Longer Walk
Ephesians 4:17

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds.” Ephesians 4:17 ESV

Paul is powerfully testifying what the Lord commands for every believer. He previously declared that every believer is to walk, to live every moment of every day, to live in a manner worthy of the calling of Christ. Paul now exhorts every believer not to walk or live like the Gentiles who do not know Christ. Unbelievers fill their minds with every form of selfish and foolish sinful desires that will ultimately come to nothing but pointless folly and ruin. Instead believers must fill their minds with purity and holiness.

Lord Jesus, help my life to be radically different from an unbeliever’s life. Help my daily walk to radiate Your holiness, grace, mercy, and love.
