"As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him." Colossians 2:6 NASB

The believers had “received” the person of Christ Jesus and not just his teachings. They had acknowledged that He was the eternal Savior and Master of all. They also acknowledged a relationship with Him declaring Jesus as their personal Savior and Master. With that declaration they were to “walk” in Him. “Walk” meant the daily lifestyle of the believer. All that the believer did was to be influenced by their relationship with Christ Jesus the Lord.

Lord Jesus, I desire that every step I make, every thing I do, every word I say, and every thought I think this day be directed by You, my Savior and Lord.
