“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” 2 Peter 3:18 NASB

Peter concludes his letter with one last command and a doxology of praise. The believer is to be continually growing in grace, consistently becoming more holy and godly in his life. His character and lifestyle should become more like Christ every day. The believer should be growing in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus, understanding who He is and what His Word says. This growth will cause the believer to praise Jesus, giving Him glory and honor now and throughout eternity.

Lord Jesus, I desire to know You better and to live a holy life. Let my life continually praise and honor You by all that I am and do.
