“And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.” 1 John 5:15 NASB

The believer has confidence that God hears his prayers that are asked according to God’s will. Therefore, he also has confidence that God has granted him the request he has prayed. While the answer to the prayer may not be immediate, the believer is sure of the outcome and is totally trusting God to do His work in His time. The believer has prayed for God’s will to be done, and he is sure that it will be done. This type of praying is praying in faith.

Lord Jesus, what a wonderful promise of answered prayers. Help me to pray according to Your will and to pray in faith trusting Your answer.
