The Upward Look

“You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4 NASB
God’s precious children had only fought and won the first battles against the false teachers. God’s children were assured of the ultimate victory over the false prophets, teachers, and Satan himself. While Satan has dominion over this world, he is far weaker than the Holy Spirit of God. Every true believer in Jesus as Savior and Lord has victory because the Holy Spirit lives in him. One day the final battle between good and evil will be fought. God’s great power will overcome and destroy evil and all who are opposed to Jesus the Lord.
Lord Jesus, I yield my life to be controlled by Your Holy Spirit. Help me to stand up in Your power for what is right.
