“No one has ever seen God. If we love one another, God remains in us and His love is perfected in us.” 1 John 4:12 HCSB
God in all His holiness, majesty, and glory cannot be seen by human eyes. Yet, when believers truly love one another, God’s love can be seen by others through their lives. In this sense, others can see God by seeing His love demonstrated in the lives of the believers. When believers love one another as God loves, this love shows that God’s Spirit is abiding, living in them, and His love has completed its purpose in their lives.
Lord Jesus, I desire to live a life of love for You and Your people. Help me this day to show this love through my words and actions toward others.
